For the first time in decades, the Campus area of Playa Vista will see two new commercial developments. These new office buildings are scheduled to be ready for occupancy in very soon.
Tishman Speyer and Walton Street Capital LLC are jointly developing a 64-acre office campus situated around an eight-acre community park, complete with walking paths and playing fields. The low-rise office buildings will include over two million square feet of rentable space and sections designated for restaurant, retail and daycare facilities.
Lincoln Property Company and ASB Capital Management are currently constructing the first phase of “Horizon at Playa Vista.” This new 15-acre, creative-style office campus will include nearly one million square feet of Class A office space. The buildings will incorporate a number of modern aspects including a progressive contemporary architectural design by Johnson Fain and state-of-the-art workplace technology. The first phase of Horizon consisting of two, five-story buildings totaling over 400,000 square feet, is currently under construction. |
